Are you an experienced Unity Technical Artist with a passion for Unity and would love to work on Metaverse based, R&D/Rapid Prototyping projects?
If so, we’re looking for you!
We’re working with a fast-growing XR studio that has a strong focus on producing metaverse based, rapid prototypes and innovation projects for a wide range of global powerhouse brands. Many of the world’s largest companies are investing heavily in Metaverse focused R&D projects to ensure they’re maximising the amazing opportunity that Metaverse promises to deliver on!
Joining the company as a Unity Technical Artist, you’ll be joining a highly talented team of developers and creatives, and use your full creative powers to push boundaries and drive innovation
The key elements of the Unity Technical Artist role will include:
  • Create best in class VFX & animations that bring projects to life!
  • Works with Artists and Engineers to integrate art assets faithfully into Unity.
  • Optimize art assets (optimizing art assets for memory usage and performance concerns)
  • Using the most effective texture compression methods
  • Implement game assets into Unity
  • Ensuring assets are appropriate for all supported devices (aspect ratios etc.)
  • Setting up naming conventions and best practice documentation
  • Develop and document art pipelines
  • Evaluate bugs and apply appropriate solutions for fixes bugs
  • Work with task/bug tracking software (Jira)
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, the company are seeking an experienced Unity Technical Artist with the following skills….
  • Proficient in exporting and integrating art in Unity
  • Proficient in optimizing art, VFX and animations for Unity
  • Experience in creating and maintaining art content pipelines
  • Proven ability to animate in Unity
  • Version control knowledge
You win additional points if you’re also experienced in the following areas:
  • Scripting and/or coding knowledge to facilitate tool creation and ad-hoc implementation requirements
  • Shader coding knowledge
  • 3D art pipeline knowledge
