Contract Unreal Technical Artist
Location: Remote
Rate: £300 – £350 / day
Contract Length: 3-4 months

A UK-based animation and creative studio, renowned for its groundbreaking work in animation and visual storytelling, is looking for a passionate freelance Unreal Technical Artist. This studio stands out for its commitment to innovation, creating content that resonates across film, games, and digital experiences. By joining their team, you'll work on projects that push the boundaries of imagination and technology, contributing to content that captivates and inspires audiences worldwide.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Taking existing client models created in Rivet/Blender into Unreal Engine OR creating assets from scratch from 2D concepts.
• Elevate environments to their final quality by refining the existing base, enhancing detail, and developing additional features. This includes making model adjustments, optimizing layout and placement, and improving materials and substances.
• The focus will also be on implementing advanced lighting techniques with Nanite, Lumen, and Pathtracer to achieve a visually stunning result.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Unreal Engine.
• Experience with 3D modelling and texturing.
• Strong understanding of shading, lighting, and particle systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Scripting experience in Blueprints or C++.
• Knowledge of VR/AR development.
• Familiarity with the latest animation techniques and tools.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
