Unreal Technical Artist – Virtual Studios
£50k – £70k base
Hybrid/remote role with North West London Studio

FourPointZero are working with a world-leading provider of real-time immersive graphics that are currently seeking an experienced Technical Artist with a background in Unreal Engine to join their UK team working on the Best of the Best projects the broadcast world has to offer!

As Technical Artist, you will have a crucial role in a tight-knit team, creating revolutionary 3D and Augmented Reality graphics for virtual television studios used in live broadcast productions.

A few key responsibilities:

• Working with internal and external stakeholders to design and build 3D graphics in Unreal Engine
• Creating and editing 2D and 3D content, including geometries, textures, and materials.
• Working with Blueprints systems to create and add key functionality.
• General optimisations for real-time performance balanced with visual quality.

What do I need?

As Technical Artist, you’ll have excellent knowledge of Unreal Engine and strong skills in Blueprints, Materials and Shader creation.

Experience in 3D Modelling, UV Unwrapping etc. will go a long way, and any additional capability in programming/scripting C++ and Python would be an added bonus but not essential.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members from different disciplines.
