Position Overview:
The XR Team Manager will lead the 3D and XR Development teams, overseeing the delivery and support of VR and AR projects. This includes managing team development, guiding outputs, collaborating with internal & external stakeholders, and providing technical leadership. The role also involves estimating costs and timelines, improving processes, and representing the company during technical reviews with clients and partners.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Line management of the XR Team, ensuring daily activities align with project objectives.
  • Overseeing the XR portfolio and ensuring compliance with technical requirements.
  • Producing cost and timeline estimates for XR activities.
  • Supporting the development of engineering processes, standards, and techniques.
  • Mentoring the team to ensure high performance and motivation.
  • Representing the company in technical reviews and managing risks and dependencies.
  • Supporting bids, managing budgets, and developing innovative technical solutions.

 
 
Qualifications:

  • Previous experience delivering training / simulation projects involving technical and creatives teams.
  • Strong understanding of the systems engineering process and ability to produce technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of XR Modelling and Development tools.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of commercial, programme, and organisational processes.

 
 
Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of software lifecycles and environments.
  • Understanding of systems engineering principles, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience developing and documenting technical processes.
  • Familiarity with product safety, security, and compliance requirements.
