Job Title: Technical Project Manager – App & Web Development
Location: Hybrid – 3 days per week on-site in London

Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a background in app and web based projects to assist the Project Director in managing the execution of a large-scale digital transformation project. This role will focus on agile sprint management, workflow coordination, and ensuring smooth technical execution across teams.
 
To summarise, ideally we are looking for experience leading development teams, managing data flow, overseeing Gannt charts and HIRA (or similar tools), and ensuring projects stay on track. They will work closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment, efficiency, and timely delivery.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Project Execution & Agile Team Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate agile sprints, ensuring development teams remain aligned on priorities and deliverables.
  • Work closely with app and web developers to manage task delegation, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
  • Monitor and manage technical workflows, ensuring smooth collaboration between frontend, backend, and UI/UX teams.
  • Oversee daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, driving continuous process improvement.

 
Process & Workflow Management

  • Assist the Project Director in managing project schedules, Gantt charts, and workflow automation tools.
  • Track task dependencies, risks, and blockers, ensuring smooth progress across multiple workstreams.
  • Maintain data flow between teams, ensuring clear documentation and version control.
  • Use HIRA or similar tools for project tracking, risk assessment, and resource allocation.

 
Cross-Team Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key liaison between development teams, designers, and external partners, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
  • Work closely with QA, DevOps, and product teams to manage testing cycles and deployments.
  • Provide technical insights during planning meetings, ensuring realistic timelines and feasibility assessments.

 
Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain clear and structured progress reports for the Project Director and senior leadership.
  • Ensure project documentation is up to date, including technical specifications, sprint reports, and process optimisations.
  • Track and analyse team performance metrics, providing insights for workflow improvements.

 
Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Strong background in app and web development, with experience in agile project management.
  • Experience leading development teams in sprint-based workflows, using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or Monday.com.
  • Strong understanding of Gantt charts, task dependencies, and workflow optimisation.
  • Familiarity with HIRA or similar tools for tracking risks, issues, and actions.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills, ensuring alignment between technical and business teams.
  • Ability to balance technical constraints with business objectives, ensuring efficient delivery.
