Role Overview

The Senior Technician – Immersive, or Immersive (AR/VR/AV) Technician, will be at the forefront of the new Immersive Labs, ensuring the seamless operation of workshops, labs, and studios. Responsibilities include:

• Offering high-level creative production skills support in AR, VR, MR, XR, motion-capture, immersive/Binaural Audio, and sensor-based interactive media.
• Providing specialist technical expertise as an Immersive (AR/VR/AV) Technician, advising on industry-standard software, equipment, workflows, and processes.
• Leading the installation, maintenance, and servicing of all relevant immersive technology equipment as a key Immersive (AR/VR/AV) Technician.
• Ensuring the safety and efficiency of studio operations in compliance with health and safety regulations, a crucial role for an Immersive (AR/VR/AV) Technician.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you will have

• At least 4 years + industry experience in a relevant field, qualifying you as an Immersive (AR/VR/AV) Technician.
• Experience with game engines such as Unreal and/or Unity.
• Solid background in audio/visual support, including troubleshooting and technical advice.
• Flexibility to work across different projects, with occasional evenings and weekends.
