We're partnering with an enterprise AI company backed by an Oscar-winning VFX group who are building AI-native products for creators and enterprises. The team includes Hollywood's top creative technologists, generative AI specialists, and people defining ethical AI content creation standards.

They're not bolting AI onto existing workflows. They're building from first principles. And they need a Gen AI Innovation Specialist to help define the path forward.

The Opportunity 

The company are going through a period of expansion and has an unparalleled opportunity for a Gen AI Innovation Specialist.

In this role, you won't be handed briefs. You'll identify and evaluate emerging audiovisual generative AI technologies across open- and closed-source platforms, then prototype implementations that inform product direction. You'll work at the intersection of research and creative teams: testing in-house developments, feeding back insights, and proposing new directions based on what you're seeing in the field.

Your opinions will carry weight. Your community knowledge matters. The research team wants context from someone with hands in the work, not summaries from someone watching from the sidelines.

Skills Required

A successful Gen AI Innovation Specialist will have professional experience testing and training photoreal generative models, ideally with a video focus. Comfortable with inference and training environments: Conda, git, dependency management, and enough Python/PyTorch to adapt code.

Proven ability in implementing tools into custom pipelines. Deep understanding of how captioning, curation, and datasets work affects model outputs. Confident adjusting training hyperparameters.

Very proficient in ComfyUI: scalable workflows, custom nodes, shared environment maintenance.

Bonus Points

The ideal Gen AI Innovation Specialist will also have R&D environment experience. Creative or developer background in VFX, visual arts, or visual tech.
