Freelance NestJS/Next.js Developer – Remote | 2-Month Contract

We're working with a team building a new digital sales platform for the property sector and they’re looking for a strong freelance developer to help ship a key phase over the next couple of months.

You’ll be joining a small, focused team and working across both the frontend and backend. The stack is clean and modern: NestJS on the backend, Next.js on the frontend. They’ve made solid early progress and are now looking to bring in an additional developer to accelerate delivery and bring features over the line.

The Role:
You’ll be responsible for building out new functionality across the platform – mostly controller logic in NestJS and UI updates in Next.js. There’s minimal hand-holding here: they’re after someone confident enough to pick things up quickly, write clean code, and flag blockers early.

Expect to be involved in:

• Writing and updating NestJS controllers and API logic
• Frontend feature development using Next.js
• Integrating with CMS
• Collaborating with a small technical team in a fast-moving environment

Skills & Experience:

• Solid hands-on experience with NestJS (especially controller/API work)
• Strong frontend development using Next.js
• Comfortable working independently and communicating proactively
• Ideally, some recent experience working in early-stage projects

Contract Details:

• Duration: 2 months
• Start: ASAP
• Location: Fully remote
• Rate: Competitive, based on experience
