Contract UX Prototyper (Figma Specialist)
Location: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
Contract Length: 4 weeks

We’re hiring a freelance UX Prototyper (Figma Specialist) to join a leading creative studio in delivering a major infrastructure project.

As a UX Prototyper, you’ll build an interactive prototype in Figma that forms the foundation for the final user-facing application. This prototype needs to go beyond static visuals—it must capture the logic and flow that will translate directly into development.

You’ll be working from outputs generated during upcoming workshops, rather than from pre-prepared designs. This means collaborating closely with stakeholders to interpret decisions and translate them into a functional prototype.

The exported prototype will guide the build of the live application, so the UX Prototyper must structure it in a way that allows straightforward integration with the development process. You’ll work alongside another specialist focused on the application to ensure alignment between design and engineering.

While Figma is the core tool, early research points to Siter.io or a similar platform for export and preparation. The UX Prototyper will need to collaborate on finding the best approach to ensure the prototype supports both the presentation and technical needs of the project.

Given the fast turnaround, this role is production-focused, delivering against the agreed workshop outcomes rather than proposing new UX strategies or leading stakeholder walkthroughs.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a UX Prototyper or Figma Specialist, building interactive prototypes
• Ability to structure prototypes so interaction logic carries forward into development
• Experience exporting prototypes for integration with web platforms (e.g. Siter.io or similar)
• Comfortable translating workshop outputs into functional user journeys
• Excellent communication skills, working across design and technical teams
• Confident working to fixed deadlines within a production-focused role
