Project Manager – Immersive Technology & AV Installations
3 Month Fixed Term Contract
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager to oversee multiple immersive technology and AV installation projects. This role will cover for an existing PM, ensuring smooth project delivery across a range of complex installations.
You will manage projects varying in scale, from small motion capture (mocap) labs to large multi-room, multi-technology environments integrating mocap, AV, and computing systems. Some projects have existing plans, while others require additional structuring.
This role requires strong project management expertise, technical knowledge of immersive and AV systems, and the ability to coordinate with clients, internal teams, and external vendors to meet project timelines and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple AV/IT/immersive lab installations from planning to completion.
- Oversee project scopes, key deliverables, and deadlines, ensuring timely execution.
- Work with clients, internal teams, and external contractors to align on project goals and expectations.
- Use Monday.com and other project management tools to track progress and resource allocation.
- Maintain structured project workflows, refining them where necessary.
- Ensure seamless integration of AV, LED, media server systems, and mocap technology.
- Identify risks and proactively resolve challenges to keep projects on track.
- Report to the Operations Director on project status, key issues, and next steps.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management for AV/IT/immersive installations.
- Strong understanding of AV, mocap, computing, and media server systems.
- Experience managing multi-project environments with varying complexities.
- Proficiency with Monday.com or similar project management tools.
- Ability to work with both structured and evolving workflows.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, working with clients, internal teams, and external vendors.
- Recognised project management qualifications (Prince2, PMP, CTS, or similar) preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly and keep projects moving without full-time oversight.
