Technical Product Owner –  WebAR Platform
Inital 6 month FTC, possible permanent role after this

We’re working with a fast-growing XR software business that creates eye-catching and engaging marketing/brand activation campaigns for some of the world’s largest and well-known brands.

The company has made a major investment in building its groundbreaking platform to allow clients to quickly visualise design concepts and use VR to collaborate on them in real-time.

Owing to this, they’re seeking a talented Technical Product Owner to join their team on an initial six-month fixed-term contract. (The role may become permanent past this point, but it’s not guaranteed at this stage)

As a Product Owner, you will work closely with client services, project managers, development teams, and, most importantly, customers to build software applications that delight and exceed customer’s expectations. Using your technology and software development knowledge, you will be the driving force behind solutions that meet customers’ needs.

Key Product Owner Responsibilities:
 

• Understand customer requirements and provide innovative solution
• Work with stakeholders to define the project vision and roadmap
• Develop user stories with clear timescales, scope, skills, and effort required in conjunction with the relevant internal stakeholders.
• Oversee development and testing of projects, reporting any potential issues, changing requirements or project slippage and assist in coordinating any solutions to problems identified pre- and post-delivery.
• Manage the product backlog, having regular discussions with relevant stakeholders to drive progress against upcoming projects and change requests
• Act as an effective interface between stakeholders and the development team, communicating project requirements
• Perform feasibility analysis, scope, and project management to prioritise deliverables and negotiate on product functionalities.
• Receive, log and track all bugs/changes/requests from applications related to problems and questions.

Product Owner skills required
 

• 2-3 years experience or more in a similar role or 4 years development experience
• Strong knowledge of software development practices – the lifecycle and methodologies
• Experience in writing user stories or technical specifications.
• A rich understanding of web, mobile, and cloud technologies and their application.
• Experience with Angular web projects would be beneficial but not compulsory.
