We are working with an exciting, high growth XR company that has developed a Software as a Service solution which heavily utilises AR and VR technology in hugely innovative ways, and as a result its rapidly changing the face of the research, advertising and retail sectors.
Their pioneering software has gained significant traction in the industries where they operate and has resulted in several of the worlds largest brands and companies now using their software platform.
As a result of this high growth and new client acquisition, they are looking for a Tech Lead to join their development team to oversee the existing platform and play a key role in its further evolution to ensure it continues to push the boundaries of technology.
You will be working closely with the Operations Director and will be undertaking a 70/30 split of leading vs developing and as the team continues to grow, this percentage will be weighted more towards leading than ‘doing’.
Other key duties include:
Managing a small remote development team (based in Europe and further afield)
Ensuring key project milestones are achieved and delivered
Taking ownership of technical solutions to implement client specific designs
Devises and implements the company tech growth strategy
Work closely with the key business stakeholders to create new products and services
To qualify for this great Tech Lead opportunity, you will have:
Several years’ experience as a Senior Software Engineer
Detailed experience of leading development teams and would be a major plus point if you have also led offshore teams
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Strong knowledge of software design and development in a test-driven environment
Knowledge of working with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate)
