Senior Unreal Developer – R&D Projects
£80k base + Package
Remote role

We’re working with one of the world’s largest Virtual Production studios. Their work is the gold standard for what can be achieved with Virtual Production technology and can be seen across film, major episodic TV, and AAA game cinematic – this is from concept to final pixel.

Owing to their phenomenal success and continued growth, they’re looking to appoint a Senior Unreal Developer to join their team.

Working closely with the Head of R&D, the main element of the role will be advanced R&D exploration, execution, and development.

Other key Senior Unreal Developer duties:

• Work with R&D team to build pipeline solutions, tools, and interfaces to support production workflows
• Oversee the UE system setup, calibration, and operation during shooting, and work in pre-production to identify any custom code or custom blueprints that need to be created
• Work with the Virtual Production Supervisor to ensure quality real-time tracking data and the integrity of all captured data
• Work with R&D team to build tools and interfaces to support production workflows

To qualify for the Senior Unreal Developer role, you’ll be skilled in the following areas:

• Highly proficient with Unreal Engine development
• Familiar with Unreal Blueprints and a knowledge of C++ and Python is preferred
• Detail oriented, highly organised, and able to handle a variety of tasks in an efficient manner
• Excellent troubleshooter able to diagnose and solve issues in complex integrated systems
