Remote Working (5 days a month in London office)
Who are the company?
They’re a “multi award-winning” immersive technology business that has been established for more than 6 years. They’ve played their part in the development and creation of life-changing products that are helping to promote the latest innovations in both technology and science. They work with industry-leading research and healthcare companies to support the training of doctors and surgeons across the globe – promoting consistency in performance and development with pioneering procedures.
What’s the Role?
As the Designer, you’ll play a key role in defining and developing the design of the product, using Unity to create every aspect of the experience, ensuring that you utilise all the sensory feedback that is available to the user whilst working with the artists and developers to ensure that the simulator provides as close to real-life experience as possible.
Who do we want to speak to?
You’ll have experience working with Unity or Unreal game engines, with experience in a similar 3D Design with either simulation or medical experience. Due to the nature of the projects you’ll be working on, you’ll come from a scientific background, ideally educated to a degree level.
Ideally, you’d have previously worked within an XR role. However, interest and knowledge of working with these exciting new technologies are essential!
Why should you apply?
You’ll be working for a company at the forefront of technology and science, working on projects that are utilising pioneering surgical procedures – that will quite literally change people’s lives – some of which have even prevented testing on animals!
The opportunities for progression are endless!
If you’re looking for a meaningful role – to utilise your highly defined skills, please get in touch with James Martin at FourPointZero!
