We're working with a rapidly expanding group of tech software companies focused on Augmented/Virtual Reality and the Metaverse. They were established over 6 years ago by a team of industry veterans from Microsoft, Meta and Sony.
In recent months, they've received significant multi-million dollar funding in private investment – the majority of the funding will be used for R&D/innovation led projects and fuel headcount growth. The team size is currently circa 200 across the US, UK, and Europe, and they have projected a growth of an additional 100 people in 2023.
With the advent of the Metaverse, the company is building a groundbreaking SaaS-based platform that allows companies to quickly and easily create a 3D virtual headquarters quickly and easily – this can be used for meetings, events, product launches, etc.
The platform will initially be web-based and will have VR-based functionality, once the web version goes live.
To help set the product roadmap/strategy, they're looking to appoint x2 experienced Product Managers from a web application and CMS background to join their team.
Working closely with the Chief Product Office, you'll join a dynamic and fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll out their new platform.
As a Product Manager, your focus will be on delivering platform capabilities to customer-facing teams and playing a key role in developing their new SaaS solution.
Key topline Product Manager duties include:
- Maintain and manage the product roadmap
- Develop & document requirements, specifications, and user stories for new product features
- Generate new evidence-based ideas to improve customer experience and drive growth
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing and data teams
- Become a subject matter expert for the product area within the company
To qualify for this opportunity, you will have 5 years+ Product Management experience, ideally with web-based applications and/or CMS platforms.
You'll also have demonstrable experience of working on a product that has gone live and be well versed in working with clients to obtain feedback and identify new features to enhance the software.
Good communication and key stakeholder management skills are a given.
In return, you can expect to work with a motivated team who loves their work. And want to challenge industry norms to create exciting and engaging products that captivate their users.
You'll also be given fantastic routes for career progression, and the role comes with a VR headset, laptop and home set-up.
If you're an experienced Product Manager looking for the next step in your career, this is your ideal role!
