FourPointZero are working with an established XR technology company, specialising in the creation of advanced VR & AR experiences, who are actively seeking an iOS Engineer with a background in native Xcode development.

By joining as an iOS Engineer, you will be working in the R&D/ Innovation team, developing prototypes and applications for the next generation of forthcoming XR software and hardware.

This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the development of applications for the Apple VisionPro headset, a pioneering venture in the realm of XR.

Key Responsibilities:

• As iOS Engineer, lead the development of software applications tailored for the Apple VisionPro headset, leveraging native Apple tools.
• Engage collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ascertain requirements, delineate project scopes, and ensure the delivery of premium software solutions.
• Architect and design resilient software systems for XR applications, prioritising performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and adherence to industry best practices.
• Remain abreast of the latest developments in XR technology, proactively introducing innovative enhancements to optimise user experience.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Software Engineering, with a focus on native Xcode development for iOS platforms.
• Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and C++.
• Experience with ARKit, RealityKit, and SwiftUI frameworks would be beneficial.
• Demonstrable problem-solving acumen, particularly in the context of XR application development.
