Learning and Experience/Instructional Designer
£45-55k base + Car Allowance + Package
We’re working in partnership with the world’s largest commercial real estate company. They operate across 100 countries and employ over 60,000 people.
The company makes significant, ongoing investments in technology R&D to ensure they’re continually innovating and utilising the latest technology to ensure they’re operating at an optimum level.
In recent months, they’ve piloted the use of Augmented and Mixed Reality headsets for its front line facilities maintenance teams. This has been used to speed up the repairs and maintenance process and drive business efficiencies. This has been a significant success, and they’re looking to roll it out to their facilities maintenance teams globally.
Owing to this, they have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning and Experience/Instructional Designer to join their team. And play a pivotal role in creating and developing their first XR holographic immersive Learning Content library. This will ultimately transform front line workers’ development and skills for the present and future.
Key Learning and Experience/Instructional Designer duties:
- Create training for virtual environments for users with critical elements including user guides, blueprints, storyboards, scripts, job aids and other documentation
- Transform client requirements to include user needs in the development of content, standard operating procedures, and training – ensuring that work developed creates sound AR and MR business tools that are truly immersive learning experiences
- Collaborate with the XR team and key stakeholders to deliver and consult on learning experiences
- Participate in the development of what the instruction design process and content development look like
Learning and Experience/Instructional Designer requirement:
To qualify for this opportunity, the company is looking for an experienced Learning and Experience Designer with several years of experience in an Instructional/Experience Designer role.
You will also have experience designing training courses using Augmented/Mixed or Virtual Reality technology. And will understand the possibilities and limitations of the medium for training purposes.
It goes without saying that you will also have a keen eye for detail and have strong communication skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical people.
