We’re working with one of the worlds leading VFX and animation companies that operate across immersive, film and TV. Their pioneering approach and project delivery has won every industry accolade you can think of and they are seen as the ‘go to’ company in their industry.
Owing to major growth, they are looking for an experienced Buildmaster to join their London Engine team and help to drive innovation with real-time technologies in a Devops role.
Reporting to the Tech Lead, you will be working in a close-knit team to handle source control, build and deployment automation, and manage the spin-up of new projects.
You will also be playing a key role to build infrastructure as code for real-time projects and support the live systems.
Your other key duties include:
Managing the full integration pipeline for Unreal Engine projects
Authoring and maintaining configuration management for servers and workstations
Develop low maintenance solutions to efficiently scale across multiple relatively small projects
Work with the Teach Lead to design the setup of automation build management tools
Design and deliver solutions for deploying Unreal Engine builds for different shows, locations and teams
To qualify for this fantastic opportunity, the company are seeking an experienced Buildmaster/Devops with in-depth experience of working with Unreal Engine and with cross-platform build systems in Linux and Windows.
You will also have a good knowledge of Jenkins and Groovy based pipelines and have experience of administering a source control system, ideally with Perforce.
In return for these skills, you will be given the opportunity to work with a team who love what they do and are constantly pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with technology.
You will also be working on groundbreaking projects, while progressing your skills, experience and career.
They are firmly committed to the continuous development of their employees and this is reflected in their low levels of staff turnover.
If you’re an experienced Buildmaster/Devops and are looking to work on exciting projects with a great team, then this is the role you’ve been looking for!
